Fuzzy Nelson's story
We arent sure who sent Fuzzy Nelson here or what he's doing on Earth. What we are sure of is that this very special dog needs a very special home for however much more time he needs to complete his mission.
Fuzzy Nelson joined our program with a severe case of mange. But once he became truly fuzzy again with a coat of velvety fur, we realized there was more going on with his medical condition than just a skin condition. After consulting a neurologist, we learned that his ridiculously cute wonky gait is related to a neurological condition that may shorten his life.
Fuzzy Nelson currently lives among dogs and a small human sibling and does great with all of them. He wins over everyone he meets with his elfish grin, his pointy ears, and his captivating gaze. He loves snuggling (complete with gentle earlobe nibbles) and helping with his human brothers reading homework. His energy level is right down the middle--hes happy to get in the mix for some playtime, but is equally down for an epic cuddle session.
Fuzzy is looking for a special home that will help him collect as much information as possible before he heads back to his home planet, whenever that may be.
About 10 months old and 40 pounds, Fuzzy Nelson is crate-trained, house-trained, micro-chipped, up to date on routine vaccinations and working on his basic commands.
