Fudgie's story
Meet Fudgie, a 1.5 year old AKC chocolate female that was turned into DLRR by her family who couldnt spend enough time with her. She's an adorable lab that loves to be around adults, kids and other dogs. While she may be young, shes not rambunctious and would rather be your cuddle buddy. She loves to curl up on the couch or bed next to you and pass out. It doesnt appear her previously family spent much time on training and she is difficult to keep off the couch and bed, so her new family will need to work with her or be ok with it (her sweet face pretty hard to say no). Currently being called "Pudgie Fudgie", she is your typical chocolate labrador that might enjoy food a little too much. Her weight is coming in around 100 lbs., so some extra walks or swims in the pool will help cut her weight in no time. Speaking of swims, it appears she had never been around a pool before, but she sure has enjoyed learning how to swim with her current foster home! When she goes for a walk, she pulls on the leash but since she is easily trainable, that can be fixed in no time. Her foster mom works from home and Fudgie has claimed a quiet spot under her desk to sleep all
day. When she gets tired of napping, she will grab a toy and go play with her foster brothers usually with some excited talking! She loves tug of war, chewing on bones, and of course, tennis balls. She's fully housebroken with or without a doggy door and seems to get along with everyone, but cats are unknown. With some basic training to learn some manners, she will make a great addition to anyone's family!
