Up for sale is a 1960s Premier tube reverb unit. It works perfectly except that the hard-wired footswitch has been disconnected. These can be quite noisy, but this one is as quiet as you're likely to find in an old spring reverb unit. The sound is remarkably good for the price; it's a bit smoother than a Fender, but similarly lush. There are volume controls for the dry signal and the wet signal; with the dry signal turned up and the reverb signal turned down, the unit doubles as a great tube preamp that can throttle your amp's front end. It's pretty clean, with just a little oxidation on the control panel and metal hardware.
Also for sale is a Ho power attenuator; this uses the same re-amping idea as the Ultimate Attenuator, producing a less colored and less compressed sound than conventional attenuators. This one can take amps up to 50W, and has a switch for amps under 30W. It also has a "plexi" switch that adds a little extra high-end clarity to the signal. It's in mint condition.
The price is $225 for either. I will also trade either or both for a nice compressor (plus or minus cash as necessary) - something with an attack control. I may also consider trades for vintage lap steels, again plus or minus cash as necessary. You can call me at
