  My story

Hello World, Meet the Murderbabies. ❤️ Frosty was found frozen to the ground at Lowes late last year. Tiny, frostbitten, terrified and helpless. Around the clock TLC- including Vet care, medications, fluids and nurturing brought her around. She eventually lost half her tail and part of her right ear due to infection that set in following severe frostbite. All at about 4-6 weeks old. These days, 2 months later, those changes have definitely added character to her beautiful self.A couple of weeks later, her sister Terry was trapped at Lowes. It was bitter cold. So happy to bring them back together, we wondered if they’d recognize each other after so much time apart in such a short lifespan. Well they did. Immediately. They wrapped together like Yin and Yang and comforted each other. Now it’s their turn to find their forever home. Here is a little about them: Terry has a more playful demeanor, being more bold, curious, and demanding of food. Frosty is more conservative in her willingness to play, but when she plays she’s all in. Frosty accepts pets and being lifted far more than Terry, who poofs out of existence when you dare attempt such acts. Terry is begrudgingly accepting of dogs, while Frosty watches dogs with sneering eyes from a point of safety. Both are black smoke cats with feathery, down like fur and little patches of white on their chests. They’ve got bright green eyes, with Terry having what seems like gray eyeliner around her eyes. Frosty’s eyes are reminiscent of an owl’s, always wide open and observant. Frosty also likes being petted, but only when she decides it’s time to. Terry, on the other hand, usually bounces away if you’re too close for comfort, or curiously bats at your hand with a playful paw. Frosty is a big bundle of love and purrs during her cuddle sessions When anxious, the murderbabies are likely to retreat to the safety of the other sister, twirling around each other for comfort. The twins adore the companionship of other cats as well, being cuddly companions to their housemates. It isn’t uncommon to find the twins curled up and sleeping against other cats, although they normally sleep against each other. These girls are precious, and cautious as they were born feral and have certainly come a long way! They will keep coming along, with patience, love and feta. (Terry says please bring sardines). And toys? Did we say toys? We love toys!In Anchorage. Call or text
