My story
Have a frisky friend for ya!Why hello there, hooman! My name is Frisky. I am a 1-year-old, neutered male, German Shepherd Mix weighing around 43 lbs. I am here because The Animal Pad rescued me from Tijuana. I am completely house/bathroom/leash trained! I do pee when I’m excited or nervous haha…I am really great on a leash!Let’s share a little bit about me! I am intelligent and I learn very quickly. I am very eager to please and I’m happy to be around my hooman family. I will be your shadow in your home and because of this, my recall is great. I am energetic but I’m able to calm myself down pretty quickly and I regulate it well. I love multiple walkies a day! I have a bit of anxiety when you leave but I do fine in my crate a few minutes later. I have even been left out of my crate to roam in the house for 30 minutes at a time and I do not destroy anything. I am very doggo friendly! I have not met any cats yet. I do good with little hoomans, it would be best if they are 5+. I love tug-of-war, walkies, playing with other doggos, fetch, being around my hoomans. I am happy to lay on the bed at night and just sleep. My foster says, “Frisky is a wonderful, active and loving pup. He is eager to please. Loves his family. He is very smart!” My perfect furever home would be one with love & patience! I would be best suited with a family with older little hoomans and perhaps one more doggo sibling that loves to play. I am fine alone for a few hours at a time in my crate with no issues. My adoption fee is $400 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/##1270030##
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Frisky, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
