My story

　　Hi, I'm Freya! I came to High Country Humane as a feral dog, but have been making progress in trusting the shelter staff that takes care of me daily. I'm a very shy girl who could benefit from another furry friend already in the home! Another dog in the home will help me become comfortable and help me learn that humans are friends! I am SO deserving of a furever home and a family that will take the time I need to become comfortable and respect my boundaries. Please no children in the home. I need to go to a home with a fenced in yard to explore in as I am still learning what a leash is. I am excited to learn a lot and go on adventures with my very own family. My ideal furever home would have a yard to release my energy, a comfortable bed and crate, but mostly what I need is your love and patience! If you think I might fit in to your household, please come meet me at the shelter! I just know my furever family is out there somewhere!

　　I'm fixed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and ready to go home! I must go home with a collar and leash, so if you have them, please bring them with you to meet me! Otherwise you can buy them here for $5 a piece!
