My story
Freya is a rescue from Kuwait. She is a Golden Retriever/Anatolian Shepherd mix (or at least that is what the rescue told us). Freya is intelligent with a bit of a sassy attitude but has always listened well (event when she doesn’t want to) She is 4yrs old and a snuggle bug who loves pets, treats and laying in the sun. Her favorite games are tug-of-war and keep away, and she spends most days running around her backyard chasing squirrels or napping. She is a great hiking buddy who loves people more than dogs but gets along well with other pups with the right introductions. She has no behavioral issues, is fully crate trained and house trained and does not bark. She does have a sensitive stomach but has done well on Purina sensitive skin and coat for the last few years. Freya does NOT like cats. This is why we have to find her a new home. She has never lived with children but lived with many other dogs in Kuwait, but has not lived with other dogs since we adopted her 3 yrs ago. She loves children but would be best suited in a home with older children ten years and up. Ideally she would love a yard but has lived in apartments before, just know she will be on your patio every chance she gets! Please email [email protected] if you are interested in adopting!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Freya, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
