Up for you to consider is this Conn 8D great instrument. With the serial number: 394378, this horn is a 1989 Eastlake-Conn 8D with excellent valve compression. (overhauled ultrasonic, cleaned, and customed by Atkinson and Ion Balu), well-adapted K lead pipe and a flared bell by Atkinson! This horn has a lot of extras. I will sell it with the (2 bells), its original bell, and a lighter Atkinson yellow brass for a better response. Also, it has an Amatto water key, heavy valve caps (plus the originals), and a standard Atkinson case. The horn was unlacquered by Ion Balu and sounds terrific. The finish is nice and limited to tiny dings and minor signs of age. I am the only owner of this horn that has been with me for 34 years, it will hurt to sell it, but as I get old,  a Geyer wrap horn or an Alex 103 work better for me. I have won many auditions with it, and it’s currently helping me finish my doctoral studies. I will miss it, but I’ll be glad if it stays in good hands.
