Freedom's story
Where do we begin with this Freedom? Freedom has paid her dues. She spent the first 4 years of her life tethered to chain in virtual isolation. We first spotted her as a pup, she was tied next to her little brother who passed away on the end of the chain. Over the years we thought he was the lucky one. He was no longer suffering on the end of the chain. When Freedom came into our care, she was nervous and very timid. Over time she has come out of her shell. Although she is bonded to many male dogs, she will do well on her own as she loves human affection. Freedom will need to have a very patient family and we think she will do best without cats and if there is a dog; it will need to be male/submissive. It will take time for Freedom to feel comfortable with another dog. Freedom loves to ride in the car, go on walks and she gives the sweetest kisses. We called her --Mush Mush-- because of her sweet, mushy face. Freedom is so sweet and has the most soulful, big brown eyes. She will make a wonderful companion.
