This little lady showed up on my porch last winter, sleeping on my chairs in the shelter. I put out a blanket for her and she stayed, I've been feeding her and now she comes regularly for food. Unfortunately, I'm very allergic to cats so I can't have her in the house, I've let her come inside, but you can tell she is not a house cat, and just wants to run back outside. She is not feral, she is super sweet and desperately wants me to pet her, but I can't. I put out a litter box, but she never used it, I have no idea where she is pooping and none of my neighbors seem to know either, so she hides her poop, we accidentally locked her in the house the entire day last week and she ran out as soon as we opened the door, I looked everywhere for poop or cat scratches, but there were none, she was very good inside, just doesn't like being inside. I know of several other neighbors who also feed her or give her treats, but nobody wants to own her. She makes her rounds and has befriended everyone, but mostly comes to me, because I feed her. I really need to find someone to love her and has time and patience to try to make her a house cat, I get so afraid for her when it gets really cold or hot out.
We named her Potato Bug, because she is gray and white and does the rollie pollie, she throws herself at my feet and rolls all around trying to get me to pet her. She has a very pretty face, green eyes and socks. Beautiful markings. She caught a rat last month for me, very good kitty! There are lots of other abandoned or feral cats in the neighborhood that come to visit, and she is not pregnant in all this time, so I'm assuming she is fixed. I don't know her age. But she is so smart she must be older. Its hard to take her photos, she is super fast and keeps rolling around so fast that most of the pics are blurry.
