My story

　　Hi, I'm Freddie! I'm about 5 years old and weigh around 13 pounds. I'm a little unsure of this new place they call "shelter", so I've been spending a lot of time curled up in my carrier. If you're nice enough to come in and say hello, I'll probably poke my head out to evaluate you. If I'm getting a good vibe, I'll start by rubbing my cheek on the carrier. You might even hear me start to purr a little. I like it when you talk softly to me. If you give me a few minutes and hold out a hand for me to sniff, I might let you scratch my cheeks and head. That's the ticket! Encourage me a little and I'll make my way out for more petting, a light snack and maybe I'll even climb into your lap! I'm basically a pretty normal guy.
