*FRANKIE's story

　　Frankie came to the shelter as a stray so very little is known about him. Frankie has been friendly with his tenders and his canine neighbors, and has been exceptionally playful and appropriate with several dogs we have introduced him to, including Max in D23. We do not know how he does with children or cats, however, as he may have never met them before. Mutuals with any other dogs in the household and other family members are always recommended to ensure he is a good fit. Frankie works hard at keeping his kennel clean, but may have been kept primarily as an outside dog so will likely need a patient family who can help him fine tune his inside manners. Frankie is a young and active dog and will enjoy an active home, perhaps with someone that enjoys hiking, biking, running or teaching him how to skijor.
