Frank Sinatra's story
Frankie is a very sweet, playful, energetic puppy, just 12 weeks old. We think theres quite a bit of Catahoula Leopard Hound in his make-up; mixed with what is a mystery. Catahoulas are working dogs, so hell need a family that can spend a lot of time with him. Hes crate-trained and we're working on housebreaking. He will use puppy pads if you have them. Mostly, he pees outside. Frankie is one of the most social dogs Ive ever met. He loves everyone he meets
and wants to meet (and play with) everyone! He especially loves being part of a pack, so his ideal home will have at least one other dog. Tug is his favorite game, but hes still teething so he also likes his chew toys: a flavored Nylabone, an antler, and a bleached marrow bone with peanut butter inside. He can jump quite high and climb pretty well, so he absolutely needs a securely fenced yard. When hes tired, though, he just wants to cuddle with his humans. Hes fine with kids and other dogs (of any size), but toddlers can be hard on a puppy. Consistent and frequent training is necessary with any puppy, especially a working dog. Give him a job to do, whether its fetching, guarding the kids, or hunting for his treats. Take him on long walks so he can experience new scents and sights while he practices heeling. He already knows sit," shake," and "no! Frankie is extremely intelligent, clever, and inquisitive. He'll probably be ~50 pounds at one year. Are you ready for a sweet, playful crooner?
