I don't know the year or anything because I got it used. It plays well, all keys work, missing no keys. A few of them stick down evey once in a while but not every time. I had it tuned about 18 mo. ago and the Tuner said that it had to be tuned an octive lower than normal or it wouldn't hold the tune. You can't really tell - or maybe I just can't because I'm an Alto singer and prefer things lower anyway. :) It's very heavy but does have wheels.
