Foxy is a cutie-pie three year old Terrier-Chihuahua mix who came to us from Moreno Valley shelter in LA. She has a foster, but needs a iforever home. This is what her foster mom said about her- written by Foxy of course:
"My name is Foxy, and I'm the sweetest girl my foster parents have ever fostered! I arrived in a terrified state and was not trained or housebroken at all. I'm so smart that within two days I was house trained and learned how to sit. I now know that I get more attention when I'm calm, so I try to sit and wag my tail instead of jumping around when I'm excited.
I love to go on walks, ride in the car, and play with my toys (especially my squeaky fox).
I am learning to trust people and can be a little shy at first, but once I know you're okay, we're best friends. I weigh about 12 pounds, I'm spayed, and I have the most adorable face and curly tail you've ever seen.
I am incredibly intelligent and love to learn, so it would be awesome if I could be adopted by someone who wants to teach me how to do tricks. I love to run around the yard after a ball, I am eager to please, affectionate, and I love to play with other dogs. "
If you would like to meet Foxy, please fill out an adoption questionnaire at our site:
See the menu of options on our homepage(top). You can find out about our non-profit rescue organization and adoption/foster policies there. No fee to foster and we provide support as needed. Adoption/donation fee is tax-deductible and sliding scale.
As we are San Francisco-based, you must live in Northern California to adopt or foster one of our rescues--you must be able to meet the dog in person. But FIRST, we need to know about you so as to match up the right potential adoptee with the right potential adopter! Once we have your information, we will contact you as soon as possible. Thanks!
