Fox Trot's story
FoxTrot -- This is FoxTrot, a handsome male border collie mix who was brought to the shelter as one of >40 neglected dogs from a very unfortunate hoarding situation. This sweet boy is terrified in the shelter, as were so many of his companions who were brought in with him. Most of the others have thankfully found either foster homes or permanent adoptive homes, but Fox Trot is still awaiting his first ever real home. He is sad, and frightened, but he is not aggressive. He will allow you to pet him, but his fear prevents him from approaching you. The look in his eyes and his body language show the fear, but they also seem to reflect a real desire to be loved. Fox Trot needs a loving but qualified family, but that family needs to understand that this baby is special, and he needs to be treated with patience, kindness, understanding, compassion.....and lots and lots of love. He is classified as an OTI, so there is no stray hold to delay him To fill out an adoption application, go to http://limestonepets.org/website/adoptApp.php?species=Dog
