My story

　　Hi everyone, my name is Forest & I am about 6 years old. I do have a sob story so bear with me. I was a cat who ran into trouble, literally, because I was hit by a car & suffered some really intense injuries. My amazing vet here at High Country Humane saw the fight in my eyes & soul and she saved my life. Sadly, I had to lose my front leg in the process (I came in missing a tail already!! I suffered some real trauma to my face & am recovering slowly from all of it. I'll be honest, I don't move around much. I need to be picked up & held, cuddled, loved on & cherished. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE people. I do get up to eat, drink & use my litter box but need some help managing this intense experience. Some manual physical therapy to teach me I can still walk & be a very typical kitty. I love watching Cat TV, mainly mice & rats! I LOVE sleeping in bed next to my person. I purr so loudly & still make one pawed biscuits when people order them.

　　I really need a special person to step up for me. To love me, to show me patience, kindness, guidance & to never give up on me. I experience so much joy & just want to share that with someone who will accept me where I am but also encourage me to go further in my recovery. I don't seem to like other animals at this point in my life.
