FL/Trixie's story

　　Trixie is a 1-1/2 to 2 year old Brittany/Border Collie mix who was found as a stray and brought to a shelter in central Florida. She is very tall and lanky and weighs about 49 lbs. Shes very sweet and very athletic. Shed be a good running buddy, frisbee buddy, agility or someone who wants to give her a job. Shes incredibly smart and calm. Her only fault is not being so friendly with other dogs. Trixie loves to be with her people to cuddle up with anywhere you like! Trixie loves to chase a ball until your arm falls off and loves to play with toys! She is playful and energetic and will need a FENCED YARD to keep her safe. She lives to fetch and knows "find the ball" command as well as "drop it". She does not counter surf and is house broken. She now knows "here" and "kennel". She does not dig nor does she dig or jump to get out of a fenced area. She has nice leash manners too. She catches on very, very quick! She is spayed and UTD on vaccinations and is microchipped. PLEASE NOTE: While Trixie LOVES being with people, she has trouble socializing with other dogs. She does NOT get along with most other dogs and will need to be in a home where she is the ONLY pet. Dog parks are not recommended for Trixie. Trixie is in central Florida and can be transported up to 1,400 miles with the adopter assuming the last 100 miles. Her adoption fee is $350.00.
