My story
The sweetest lil muppet!Hey friends! I am Floyd and I am a 4 year old, 27 lb, neutered male Dachshund mix. I was rescued with the Muppet crew a while back, and thought that I had my furever home, but here I am on the lookout again. I have been at my foster home and they are very happy that I have mastered bathroom and leash training. I do have some back pain and the vet suspects a slipped disc and some leg pain too. I take a pain medication easily and a joint supplement, that helps me stay active and pain-free. They cost ~$23 a month for both, depending on market value. My foster mama says that I have a good temperament and I am a sweetheart! I can be a lil shadow following her around or playing with my ball. I have good energy and my back and legs dont bother me too much, as long as I have my pain meds per the vet orders. I got a bit naughty at my previous home and charged at a crowd of people, but I am learning to be more patient. I am way friendlier now, and even sometimes go with mama to her salon and the clients love me! I am friendly with dogs. I dont have any experience with cats, and I would actually prefer an adults only home without kids. I admit I got jealous with mama's friend's dog but when I growled, mama told me that it was all good. We like to go and walk twice a day, and I also enjoy training sessions!I would fit in perfectly with a family that can shower me with some TLC. I would prefer grown-ups only around me. I would prefer to be by myself, but dont mind being with another calm dog. Also, you may catch me snoring like a trucker once in a while, but it's all cute! If you think we can be a great match, let's meet up! My adoption fee is $350 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/ ##971468##
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Floyd, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
