　　  Meet Flounder!UPDATE 12/14/21Flounder has been with ARWOB since 06/2021 when he arrived as this adorable, little, funny guy under 4 pounds and he should have been in a home long ago, but sadly, we haven't found the right family for him. Flounder is outgoing, social, playful, loving and just a well-rounded cat! He is now a young adult who just recently turned 1yr old and is currently 10.5 pounds and could use to lose 1 pound which is hard to do currently because he is fostered around many dogs and cats and always has access to food! Flounder's best friends are EVERYONE!! He is friends with everyone. His BFFs are Bear and Figaro, but he gets along with any cat, kittens, adults and seniors. He also is good friends with dogs like Alba. Junior, Margie, and Copper who, are cat friendly and love to have him play with them!Flounder would do well in a home with cats, dogs and children. He would at least need a cat friend OR a very friendly/cat safe dog whom he can play with for us to contemplate adopting him into a home with no cats but it would be great if his future forever family had a cat and/or dog. He is a goofball, not very vocal if at all, has great litter box usage, has a submissive, playful personality who loves toys, cat tree and playing chase with other cats or wrestling!. Because he spent a lot of time in and out of cat adoption centers, he may not love to be hugged and walked around with, but he seeks human attention and is affectionate. Once he is settled in a home we believe he would be more of a 'lap cat/lovey boy', but for now, he likes to seek out human attention on the sofa or in bed and will start purring. He would be a great match for a family looking for a friend for their cat/dog at home or looking to adopt 2 cats. He can be matched with any other kitten/cat from Arwob. Flounder will be attending our last cat adoption event of the year on 12/18 and 12/19 so we hope you stop by and meet him OR submit an adoption application online to schedule a meet and greet in the 92117 area at a convenient day/time so we can get him home before the new year!

　　Flounder, this handsome boy, came to us as a singleton kitten rescued from the streets of Ensenada, Mexico.

　　This boy is an absolute GEM!! Flounder a handsome 10 month old neutered male who is very social, outgoing and playful. He is great with children, dogs and other cats. If you are looking for a loving, friendly and active kitty, then Flounder is the one! He has a personality like no other, is brave, active, and nothing can stop him! Sweet, cuddly, loving and just a total character!

　　Update October, 2021:

　　When Flounder was at our cat adoption center at the PetSmart in Clairemont recently before being moved to a foster home, he stole the hearts of everyone and everyone had such great things to say about him! Not only is he a cutie, but he is such a sweet cat...affectionate, playful and, yes, a real character who will brighten your days! He loves playing with toys, but is happiest during playtime romping, playing, and play wrestling with his feline friends! Flounder is neutered and ready to go home now. Flounder also loves to check everything out and he is the explorer. Once he checks everything out he will sit and relax... observing everything around him. He is MR. Personality! He doesn’t mind the dogs at all even when they are all in his face. He likes playing them, and he likes playing with everyone!
