I'm Florence, and my story is a real tearjerker. I was brought into the county shelter as a stray kitten on death's door. Starving, dirty, eyes sealed shut, congested... you name it. I had even given up on eating; I was just waiting to die. I thought no one would ever love me. But then, something wonderful happened. ALF pulled me from the shelter and immediately started treating me for all my issues. It took two long months of daily medicine, nebulizer treatment, syringe feeding, and vitamins, but now look at me. I've turned into a beautiful, petite young lady who loves to be around her people. My favorite thing in the world is to be carried over your shoulder like a sack of potatoes. I even give kisses! I'm very easygoing, and nothing fazes me-- dogs, cats, older kids, they're all good with me. I'm about a year old, and have already been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.
