My story
Flauta is a super shy but affectionate girl with soulful eyes whose amazing story is one of survival. Change is difficult for this beautiful girl, but when she is comfortable, she loves being petted, will rub up against you when you aren't petting her, purrs like crazy, and is the best biscuit maker ever!
We don't know anything about the first year and a half or so of this young girl's life, but we do know that she somehow kept her 4 kittens safe while living on CSU's campus until a kind soul saw them living in a storm drain. And she did this all while having a tail injury of unknown cause that left her tail with exposed bone! Ouch! Flauta recently had surgery on her tail (and it's now a little shorter than it used to be) and we can only imagine how much better this gentle girl feels!
Flauta's foster parents are still learning more about her, but she is coming out of her shell more and more each day and is showing herself to be such a sweetheart! We do know that she will need a quiet home with a patient adopter, and every member of the household must be willing to let Flauta continue to blossom at her pace. Flauta appears very comfortable around other cats. We aren't sure if Flauta wants to share her new home with a dog(s), but if her perfect home has dogs, they should be very calm, respectful, cat friendly dogs. Ask about this gorgeous survivor with the most amazing eyes today!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Flauta, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
