Flat - Coated Retriever - Maggie 19504 - Extra Large - Senior
Maggie is a 10-year-old female Flat-coated Retriever mix who has already been spayed. She is solid black and has a medium length coat that is very soft. Her tail is not bobbed but it is shorter than a normal length tail. Maggie weighs 80 pounds so she is a big girl! She came to the shelter with her very best friend, Tippy. They have been together forever; and Maggie and Tippy are a bonded pair. Maggie is very attached to Tippy and worries when he goes out of her sight at the shelter. For that reason we would like to see the two of them adopted together and since this is Adopt a Senior Dog month their adoption fees are $50 each. Maggie may be a senior pet but she is still a spunky and frisky girl who is playful and active. She gets along well with other dogs and would be great as a family dog because she loves children. Both of these dogs are sweet, loving, and wonderful senior pets. Please consider adopting these two together. They are both will remain in a fenced yard, and actually prefer to be outside. These great dogs just a need a home to call their own and a family to love them. Please help these guys stay together.Dogs and puppies may be adopted for a fee of $120. Cats, 7 months and older, may be adopted for $50. Kittens, under the age of 7 months, may be adopted for $80. Adoption fees for pure breds may be higher and will need to be discussed with the Shelter Manager. PAHS is also offering the Better with a Buddy Program; if you adopt one kitten, you can adopt his or her buddy for half price. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), 30 days of insurance (as requirements met), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices.
