My story

　　Fiona is a 2-year-old female Lab mix who has already been spayed.  She was brought in by animal control.  Fiona is a very pretty dog who has a yellow coat with black around her eyes.  She weighs 53 pounds so she is a good sized girl.  Fiona was injured when she came to PAHS.  She has a bullet wound on her left front leg.  She is under a vet's care and seems to be healing well.  Fiona is very shy and afraid of her own shadow.  It is obvious this sweet girl has been mistreated; and needs a patient foster/adopter who will show her how to trust and love again.  Fiona would thrive in quietness of a home and with the attention a good family  would show her.  Fiona would be fine with children but we aren't sure about her with other dogs--the staff are still learning about her temperament.  If you would be willing to foster Fiona, or you would like to learn more about her, please call our staff at

　　between 11-4.  They will be more than happy to tell you everything you need to know about this incredibly sweet girl.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $20.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $10.  All pets will be spayed/neutered before adoption. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices.
