My story

　　Ready to glide into your arms!Surf’s up, dude! My name is Finn, and I’m a 1-year-old Golden Retriever looking for my furever home.  Weighing in at 68 pounds, I’m scheduled to be neutered and am a strong and healthy boy who loves to be on the move!My favorite activities, you ask?  Everything since I’m a high-energy pup!  I especially love playing fetch and tug-of-war, taking walks, and running around at the dog park.  I also enjoy going to the beach, and true to my name, am totally down for taking a nice dip in the ocean! Other than that, I love being around humans and making other doggie friends.  Cats, though, are a definite no-no.  I just can’t help myself around them and will chase, lunge, and bark anytime they cross my path.  Can you blame me? Because of this tendency, small children are probably not a good idea for me, either. Since living with my foster family, I’ve pretty much mastered potty-training.  But since I still have some puppy in me, I’m working on the leash and house-training part.  Don’t worry, though – I’ve been told that I’m super smart and a fast learner, so I should have them both down in no time!  I’m also not much of a barker and have very little separation anxiety when you leave.Basically, I’m just a sweet and loveable guy who’s up for all types of adventure! I’d prefer to live with an active family, particularly one who has a backyard for me to play in.  I’d love to have a doggie friend but would be fine on my own, too.  Just no kitties or small children, please!  If you’d like to ride out the wave of life with me, let’s meet!
