My story

　　Fifi!!! You are the sweetest!Mini Italian greyhound! Super sweet demeanor! She is approximately 6-8 years old and 13 pounds! She just got her teeth cleaned and all her vetting and is feeling great! Great with other dogs! She would do well in a lot of environments, but we think she would probably enjoy just being somewhere she could explore a fenced backyard and just chill!Oh La La!  Fifi is an Italian girl. She looks so much like an Italian Greyhound. Precious and loving she was our vet clinic favorite Fifi was at a high kill shelter with not much change of being adopted. He past so called owner had let her mammary mass get in horrible shape and her teeth were just as bad. She has since had breast surgery to correct the mass as well as extensive dental work. This makes her ready to go to her new and much better loving homeShe would be great in any situation but we think a home looking for a lap dog and home body would be just what she [email protected] dogs are met by appointment only and pre-approved adopters ONLY.Our dogs are currently in a foster homes which can answer your questions better than anyone else. We promise our fosters that we will qualify all potential adopters before we ask them to communicate with potential adopters.The application is the first step. Volunteers process the applications and need time above their personal needs and full-time jobs to process the apps.Please have patience. We do not have any paid staff members. Our adoption fee is $300 which includes spay/neuter, DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies, HW check, and microchip. Russell Rescue dogs are fostered in the Middle Tennessee area. We do not ship/transport our dogs, so the approved adopter must be willing to travel to Tennessee. Russell Rescue will try to first place our rescue dogs locally or in surrounding states.Russell Rescue is not open to the public for visiting hours.
