　　These chicks should exhibite what some chicken experts like to call "Hybrid Vigor" In other words, hybrid offspring may be bigger, stronger, and lay more eggs than the typical breed of either of the parents. This is another reason that hybrid breeds are widely used for egg production.

　　$15.00 a Dozen +$3 extra for egg carton. You are welcome to bring your own carton to save the $3.

　　These eggs will hatch birds good for egg production as well as meat birds.

　　The mixed breeds include, Olive Eggers (will lay a dark green/olive egg) Rhode Island red, Australorp, Barred Rock, Gold Laced Wyandotte, and white leghorn: all Crossed with a Black Copper Marans Rooster (who Hatched from 7-8 on the marans scale) The pullets of these chicks will grow to lay a dark brown and olive egg as seen in the last picture below. Soon I will be able to offer 20-30% of the eggs to be pure bred French Black Copper Marans from Bev Davis and Wade Jean lines only. I have 2 roosters a Wade and a Davis covering Wade and Davis hens, so they can be a mix of the two gene lines or a pure gene line of one or the other.
