Do you own a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, Deluxe Reverb, Blues Deluxe, Blues Deluxe Jr, Twin Reverb, Super Reverb & other models? While all of these reissue amplifiers are excellent, many people wish that their Fender worked just a little bit differently than when it left the factory.
A common complaint is that the clean channel volume control is very touchy & gets VERY loud by the time it is turned to "2 or 3". Turning the control up past "4" seems to make it trashy sounding. Other requests from players is to have the gain channel be more flexible and sensitive, with the ability to have increased overdrive saturation, while having the ability to back off to get a "old school" breakup. For some, the bass response is too heavy, even if the bass control is only set to "1" This is more of an issue if you play a Les Paul or have humbuckers in your guitar.
If this sounds like your amplifier, and you would like to have these things changed, I have good news for you. I can quickly modify your amplifier to dramatically improve the behavior and flexibility of it. Your amp will perform the way you wished that it always had. I use specially selected parts (Fender OEM or equivalent) to replace the ones I remove from your amplifier. There are no extra wires installed, no hacks to the circuit board, and no extra parts added. I simply replace certain parts with ones that will do the job differently than the ones installed at the factory. The circuit board and associated parts will look completely stock.
Customers who have requested these mods done to their amplifier have been VERY happy with the results. If you would like to find out more, contact me to see if your amplifier is a candidate for this mod.
