Here is a FED Zarya 35mm viewfinder camera. Produced from 1 and sometimes called the "Zaria" or "Zapa" -- because that's what the inscription on the top looks like!. it is often called "The Poor Man's Leica" because it has a Leica lens thread. This one is in good cosmetic condition -- photos. The film advance and shutter cocking works fine. Film speed dial works as it should. Cold shoe is in fine shape and the PC connection works. The shutter release and lock work correctly. The B setting works fine. The five shutter speeds are slow, and have been tested. Here are the marked speeds and the average, actual speeds (on the right):1/500 --> 1/1501/250 --> 1/901/125 --> 1/751/60 --> 1/401/30 --> 1/15One other point is shown in the last two photos. The rear of the camera has two locks on the bottom to release the back. These also keep the film cassette and film take-up spool in place. On one end, the top plate is loose. The red arrow shows where it should be inside the back. The last photo shows it back in place. This loose piece needs to be in place to keep the film cassette in place. It might be an simple fix, but the lock on the other end of the camera keeps the back in place OK.In short, usable as is, or for repair, or parts, or display.NO RESERVE. NO HANDLING
