If you like Porsche, then you will want to own this collection. All except the first few issues of (then known as PORSCHE magazine, before the factory forced them to change the name) EXCELLENCE magazine, all about Porsches. Collection is excellent but not pristine, and is in cartons. The ads alone can be worth the cost as a resource for repair and maintenance issues. But the magazine itself is without equal. It covers the current market prices for the various models, tech articles, fun frolics and travel with Porsches, and all kinds of personalization for their unique vehicles. The seller is a Porsche nut case, and these have been a terrific resource over the years. And unlike the Porsche Club newsletter, Panorama, and the factory magazine Christophorus, both of which I also have extensive collections, EXCELLENCE gives honest appraisals of both the good and the bad of Porsches, like the RMS and intermediate shaft bearing problems of the M96 engines, the pulled head studs of the '74-77 911 2.7 engines, and exploding airboxes on CIS cars, etc. A VERY valuable resource. Buy these and become an expert like the seller.
