My story

　　We named this sweet kitty Everest because we knew when he arrived he was going to have an enormous mountain to climb. Everest was picked up by one of our cat rescuers in Wilmington. He was extremely ill and needed care urgently. Our team went to work and with treatment and a lot of love and dedication Everest is up and running and enjoying life with our staff.

　　A shy kitty at first, Everest responds well if you sit with him and let him get to know you. He loves to lie in our laps and soak up our attention and he loves to play with feather wand toys. He is lucky enough to have a room with a window and enjoys watching the action outside while we work.

　　Everest does have Feline Leukemia so he would need to be a solo kitty or live with other Leukemia kitties. We know there is a very special someone out there with a big heart to give our very special boy Everest the life he deserves.
