My story

　　Meet Evander!! He is a 5 week old bullseye tabby kitten who is a champ! We got this little dude with a gnarly ear injury-it had been nearly severed and since he was a stray, it had been infected. But we scooped him up and the vet said it was just in time before the infection was as out of control. He was put on antibiotics and it cleared up, but his little ear is never going to look the same. We think it gives him character, and an Evander Holyfield look (if any one remembers his Mike Tyson incident!) Truth be told, Evander doesn’t notice at all. He has the absolute most sweet disposition. The vet said with how bad his ear was when we found him, he must have been in extreme pain. But he was sweet, affectionate and loving despite what he must have been feeling and he has only gotten more so since being here. He loves his foster siblings, he loves his foster hoomins and he follows them around with his sweet little squeaks telling them that he really wants to be held! He will be a wonderful lap cat for anyone looking for a sweet and affectionate guy who fully deserves the second chance he was given.

　　Evander has been tested for FIV/Felv and was negative for both. He has been wormed and treated for fleas and will be neutered in two weeks where he will also receive his rabies and FVRCP vaccines. We are accepting applications on him now to set up a meet and greet with potential adopters and he will be able to go to his new home after his neuter on the 28th.
