My story

　　Eustace is an 1-year-old male Terrier mix who must be neutered before he is adopted.  He came to PAHS as a stray who was brought in by City Animal Control; and his owner never reclaimed him.  Eustace has a medium length coat that is a mixture of mostly gray with some white and even a little black mixed in;  he's such a handsome fellow!  He weighs 42 pounds so he is considered to be a medium sized dog.  Since Eustace is a stray, we are still learning about him.  He is working on leash training but it is a work in progress.  Eustace is dog selective so if you have another dog you would need to bring your dog for a 'meet and greet' with him.  We do NOT feel that he would be good with cats; and we strongly recommend he not be adopted to a home with cats.  Eustace would be fine in a home with older children but not young children.  What Eustace really needs is a very patient owner who is willing to take up time with him to show him what is acceptable behavior.  Eustace is a truly unique looking fellow who is going to make the right adopter a wonderful dog.  The key ingredient to Eustace reaching his potential as a family dog is a patient owner, consistent training,  and love.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120 and cat/kitten adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
