My story
08/04/21 This sweet kitty is Erza. Erza was surrendered to the shelter because she was fearful of the other pets in the home and was behaving aggressively towards them as a result of her fearfulness. Because of that we are requiring that she goes to a home without any other animals. Erza was also said to not do well young children in her previous home, so we are also requiring that she goes to a home without children under 12 years old. Erza has been quite friendly and charming with her animal tenders here at the shelter.
She can be a bit nervous and skittish if approached abruptly, so she may prefer a more mature home with less activity, where her space is respected and her owner allows Erza to come to them rather than force attention on Erza. Erza's previous home indicated that she was litterbox trained but that she would spray on occasion- at the shelter she has used her litterbox consistently. Erza would prefer a quiet home where she can curl up in the sun! If you are looking for a fine feline companion to keep you company while you read a book, watch tv, or sit in front of the fireplace this girl may be the one for you! If you are interested in meeting her please give the shelter a call! When Erza first came to the shelter she was suffering from an eye condition called entropion that causes the eye lid to roll in and scratch the eyeball.
This was corrected surgically and Erza has been rechecked to make sure she is on the mend.
She has some eyedrops to finish up but is otherwise ready for adoption!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt ERZA, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
