English Bulldog - Rocco The Magnificent! - Medium - Adult - Male

　　Rocco is very sweet, loving bulldog that will follow you everywhere around the house. Besides being near his family, his favorite things are car rides and walks. Rocco does have a bit more energy than your typical bulldog, and a daily walk around the block is a highlight for him. He walks on his leash pretty well, but will get very excited and pull when other dogs are around. Rocco will sit and stay on command, but has no interest in lying down unless it?s his idea. He is house trained and crate trained.

　　Rocco has some allergies and will require a special food and treats that do not cause a reaction. Reaction to watch for is usually a hotspot on the skin or ear infection. Rocco also has low thyroid hormone and will need to be on daily medication for the rest of his life. (This medication runs less than $15.00 a month.) Rocco usually takes his pill right along with his food.

　　In his first and only previous home, Rocco had 2 bull terrier brothers and several human siblings. This got to be way too much chaos for Rocco and his anxiety caused him to act out. For this reason, Rocco is best in a home where he is the only pet. He can get along with others (cat & miniature pincher at foster home) but this is limited and can only be evaluated on case by case basis. Rocco just needs a secure, loving fur-ever home and he will be a very happy, goofy bully.
