English Bulldog - Kiyomi - Medium - Adult - Female - Dog

　　Meet Kiyomi! 34lbs of lightning fast bulldog energy! Ms. K came from Maricopa County Animal Care & Control with some "eye issues", the need for Entropion repair, and to have a golf ball sized mass on her belly removed. We got right to work getting Kiyomi settled into a loving foster home and meeting all of her medical needs! After a week or two on special eye drops to clear up the ulcers on her eyes, she had Entropion surgery and that yucky mass taken off! Kiyomi does have a mild case of "dry eye" (KCS-KERATOCONJUNCTIVITIS SICCA) and will probably need eye drops daily for the rest of her life. Here is a great site explaining what KCS/ Dry Eye is: /html/body_kcs__dry_eye_.html Kiyomi does well with other dogs when she can be the boss! Our girl is a DIVA! Imagine that! A female bully who thinks she rules the world :-) It is because of this that we feel she would do best as an only dog or paired with a very tolerant male. Kiyomi has not been around young children so it is unknown how she would do with them. Dog savvy kitties are ok by her!
