English Bulldog - Ellie - Medium - Senior - Female - Dog

　　Hi, my name is Ellie and I am a full figured old gal with lots of spunk! My previous family surrendered me to Almost Home Bulldog Rescue at when they realized I needed more care than they were able to provide. I have lived most of my life outdoors and more recently developed a few lumps and bumps that needed to be removed. One of those lumps was growing on my eyeball! Yep! You heard right, it was growning on the surface of my eyeball, and kinda hurt. The Vet called it a fancy name, but all I heard was "Cancer" and "Tumor". Luckily, the type of Cancer I had growning was treatable... they just had to remove my left eye. I know that might sound a bit extreme to some people, but it got that nasty Cancer out of my body and that is what is important to me! I also had a mass the size of a gumball growing on the inside of my mouth. It made it kinda tough to chew my food, I had to be really carefull not to bite it by accident while I was eating. Luckily, that was just a benign Epulus. The kind vet who removed it said it shouldn't return either! Last, but not least, there was a big bump growing on my front right leg. Turns out that was funky skin tag and nothing to worry about! If you are still reading my bio, you might be thinking I am a trainwreck! But I'm not! I am a super mellow old gal who follows her foster parents around with a look that says they hung the moon! I love my crate (my foster mom leaves the door open for me), really love air conditioning, and get along famously with the other dogs! I have lived with children most of my life and kinda miss 'em. Overall, I am a pretty easy peasy gal :-) If you are looking for a sweet old girl who makes a super foot warmer on cold mornings, ask for Ms. Ellie!!!!
