English Bulldog - Buford - Medium - Adult - Male - Dog

　　This is a courtesy post: Buford has never known a kind touch. Buford was taken from a breeder. Then placed with a family who had two pit bulls for fighting,Buford was rescued as the owner was about to shoot al three dogs. They decided not to dock his tail as a pup, BUT decided to dock it just before he came to us with a hatchet. Last summer, he thought he was protecting us, went after a huge black bear and almost died as a result. He lost his left eye but it lends a certain charm to him! Buford loves to have his tummy rubbed, knows several commands and when we have brought him into the laundry room during cold weather, he asks very politely to be let out to go potty!
