　　Hi my name is Bruno and I am an 8 yr old red brindle bulldog!

　　Here is a little bit of my story" you see I moved to Arizona from the east coast over a year ago. And when I moved here I became a very itchy boy, my family treated me for allergies for over 8 months with no relief! I lost most of my fur and felt just awful all the time. My family then fell on hard times and could no longer afford my care. With my best interest in mind they surrendered me to AHBR. As it turns out I did not have allergies at all, rather I was suffering from Sarcoptic Mange! (I also shared it with my foster brothers and sisters, but that is another story! My Foster mom calls it the Scabies Epidemic of 2012!) No worries though, everyone (and I do mean everyone) was treated for this and I am now Mange free!!! My itchies are all gone, and I feel so much better! I also have a condition called "dry eye." It was left untreated for so long that I now have scar tissue on my eye so my eye sight is not really the best, but I still get around okay I just may move a little slower.I now get eye drops daily, and my forever family must be willing to continue this for me. I am a good bulldog who is looking for his retirement home, who doesn't mind lots of "high fives" throughout the day! I LOVE to high five!!! If you have a comfy bed for me and a bone for me to chew on, I would really like to keep you company!
