English Besson D trumpet circa 1959-60. This horn doesn't seem to have been played much. The lacquer is worn on the second valve slide and third valve slide (looks like wedding ring marks). No dents or dings that I can see and no signs of repairs. It seems to be a medium or medium large bore horn and produces a very bright sound. It has an unusual saddle on the bottom of the third valve slide for controlling intonation on the low D/C#. This horn would be great for a player ready to start exploring keyed instruments, especially the early baroque literature that was originally written for trumpet in D.
