The NordicTrack CX 925 elliptical machine is sturdy, smooth, and loaded with features. One big thing I like about this machine is that it's battery controlled, not plug-in, so I don't have to stay close to an outlet somewhere. I just made sure to always have my rechargeable batteries charging.
The machine has all kinds of programming features, a tilting fan, two compartments for water or other supplies, heart rate sensors/monitors.
It has 10 exercise levels you can choose from. It also has a feature called Quick Resistance that will allow you to immediately change your resistance without breaking your stride. The stride is 18 inches long, which should be fine for just about anyone. I'm on the shorter side, but had no problem with it.
The NordicTrack CX 925 has compatablity with iFit.com, but I never used it, so it may or may not work. You're supposed to be able to download some programs with background music and a variety of pre-programmed or your own workouts. The machine has 8 preset programs on its own, which worked for me just fine.
It has an LCD monitor that tracks your progress and give you a details reporting of your body such as the calories you've burned, your heart rate, the speed you are going at, the distance you have traveled and how long you have been on the machine. There is also a book holder on the machine, which also holds my electronic devices securely (iPad, etc.), as well.
The machine has two wheels in the front enabling you to tip & roll it around. Otherwise, it's big and heavy. But that's what makes it well-made and durable. You'll need some space for this machine, about 6 ft x 2 ft x however tall you are plus 8-12 inches.
(Note: The first pic is a stock picture of the machine since I couldn't get any decent full-view pics in my basement. It is accurate and the exact same as my machine. The rest of the pics are actual pics of my machine.)
I accept cash, cashier's check, money order, or PayPal.
Thanks.
