Ellie's story
Hi Everyone! My name is Ellie, which means 'shining light', and it fits me just right cuz Im sure I can brighten up your day! Even though Im a super senior sweet gal, I am hoping that someone thinks Im special enough to become their next family member. My foster Dad says that Im a very kind and lovable gal, approximately 10 years old and was found as a stray on the Indian reservation and humanely trapped by the Tuba City Humane Society. As sweet as I am, I was kept at a shelter in an outdoor run which was not fun or good for me (or for anyone in this AZ heat, ughh!). But DLRR came to my rescue! My foster folks can't believe that someone didn't come looking for me cuz they say Im a treasure and have been very good with other dogs, but Im not sure about cats. Based on my figure, it appears that I may have had several litters of pups but I no longer can have any pups. Im very proud to say that I quickly adapted to the doggy-door, and am house-trained and trustworthy so much so that I have full roaming privileges of the house. But most of all I am a low key pup who enjoys just chillin' with my humans.
