Ellie's story

　　Putting the "E" in energy is Ellie, enthusiastic, exuberant Ellie. Sleek, sweet and speedy at 37 pounds, she loves everyone, adults and children alike, and while she gets along for the most part with other dogs, she chases cats all too easily. She loves sunbathing and playing, chew toys and Kongs. She responds to her name and knows "come", "sit" and "down". Motivated by food (she loves pumpkin in her food), attention and toys, she's both eager to learn and to please. Add a touch of the clown to her effervescent nature, as this charmer does the ranger crawl, carries a toy around when she exits her crate in the morning to greet her people, and runs in circles outside in the yard when extremely excited. House and crate-trained, what this highly active honey needs now is a patient and loving home, hopefully with another friendly dog, to work on calming her excitability while perfecting her overall manners and leash training in exchange for her exquisite Ellie love.
