My story

　　Ellie is an 1-year-old female Shepherd mix who needs to be in a foster home.  Although highly adoptable, Ellie has tested positive for heart worms; and needs someone to step up and foster her while she is being treated for heart worms.  PAHS will provide a crate, bed, food, and anything else Ellie would need while being fostered.  We will also pay for her heart worm treatments.  Now for more about this great dog.  She is a beautiful girl who is brown with a bit of white markings.  Animal control brought her to PAHS as a stray; and her owner never reclaimed her.  Ellie weighs 30 pounds and she is a bit thin so we are giving her quality dog food to help her gain some weight.  She has a super sweet little personality; and she would be great in a home with other dogs and children.  Staff have observed that Ellie appears to already be crate trained.  PLEASE consider fostering Ellie while she is being treated for heart worms.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $75 and cat/kitten adoption fees are $35 (as long as funds are available). Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.  January 28, 2023, 8:59 pm
