　　Introducing Eleanor the Elegant

　　Eleanor is a delightful flapper of a pup that’s 7 years young and ready to help you celebrate the roaring 20s in style. She’s a certified looker, despite only having one eye, but it hasn’t slowed her down one bit. In fact, Eleanor says it just helps her to focus on the simple things in life, like hanging out with other dogs (who she loves), cats (who she also loves), and toys (which she extra special double plus loves). And hybrid workers rejoice, because this sweet girl is just at home hanging out at an office as she is on the red carpet. And you can trust her on a red carpet, for sure - she’s never had a single accident at her foster home. Way to go, Eleanor! She does prefer company, however, as she’s an extrovert who sometimes gets a little nervous on her own - but c’mon, when you’re this fabulous, you just want to share the love all the time. All it takes is a few minutes to feel her glow.

　　Eleanor had her left eye removed due to scarring and ulceration. We had it removed first thing when she came in our care. Her right eye vision is impaired, but she can see. No current treatment is needed for her eye, just to keep an "eye" on it and have periodic checkups. Eleanor was also diagnosed with a heart murmur, which is fairly common in animals and doesn't affect how she acts or behaves.

　　Eleanor is being fostered in Santa Cruz. Her adoption fee is $200. This helps cover some of her current treatment. She's spayed and up to date on vaccinations. Eleanor is looking for a lovely person that, despite her "flaws" will take her in and give her a forever home for the rest of her life. She's a lovely, sweet dog and she just wants to be loved.
