Efy's story
Efy is a beautiful Tortoiseshell cat with a majestic air about her
she definitely is our glamour girl!
When you visit their cat community room, you will find Efy hanging out with her sister Rusty. They sleep together, eat together, play together and enjoy treats together!
Both have very sweet dispositions and love people. Rusty is the more talkative of the two, meowing hello, please pet me, and stay with us awhile, wont you? While Efy lets Rusty do the talking for them, she is just as happy to see you and get as much attention as she can.
Efy and Rusty were relinquished when their owners divorced. Being 10 years old, it was traumatic for them to lose their home and humans, but they have settled in and with the TLC of staff and volunteers these girls have let their charming personalities shine through.
These girls would love to be adopted together. They are both easy going and loving and would complete the right family!
You can meet Efy and Rusty at the Coronado Animal Care Facility. The facility is open daily between 9:00 am and 11:30 am and 12:30 pm and 4:00 pm (except major holidays). It is located at 1395 First Street at the south end of the Ferry Landing complex.
If you are interested in adopting Efy and Rusty, you must first come in and meet them. If it seems like a good match, the next step is to complete a cat adoption application. Cat adoption applications are available at the facility or cat adoption applications may be completed online. A PAWS of Coronado Cat Adoption Counselor will contact you within 24-48 hours to discuss your application.
You can read about the adoption process on the Adoption Information page.
