Eddie's story

　　Eddie is a 2(ish) year old Chihuahua (maybe pug?) mix. He weighs about 10lbs and is the cutest, roundest little guy.

　　When Eddie came to us he was in bad shape. He had a cherry eye (that pink thing in the corner of his eye) and was Heart Worm positive. Right away we started our journey to get Eddie healthy and happy. He had cherry eye surgery right away, and started HW treatment. When caught early enough, Heart Worm will not have negative lasting effects, so we were very lucky to catch it early for Eddie. He has officially had his first HW treatment and is doing amazing! one month from now he will be hw free and 100% healthy!!!

　　Eddie is potty trained and a very well behaved little buddy. He doesn't bark like some Chihuahua's do and really just loves to snuggle and hang out. He gets along great with people (including kids) and dogs. He is overall just a gentle, loving dog. He does sleep a lot and hang out a bunch. An easy going life would be his cup of tea. Anybody who has lots of time to spend with him and wants to love a dog for their whole life would be a great match for Eddie.
