*EDDIE (BARN KITTEN)'s story
Barn Kittens are healthy, stray kittens who cannot be returned to field due to the circumstances of the location where they were found. Barn Kittens are not suitable for regular adoption because of their feral behavior at the shelter. In most cases, dedicated volunteers have attempted to socialize these kittens and believe the best placement is as a Barn Kitten.Barn Kittens are adopted in pairs in addition to a pair of Barn Cats for guidance. Barn Kittens are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, ear-tipped, and ready to HUNT! Careful adherence to the Barn Cat Integration process is key to educate the cats that your property is their new home! To acclimate the Barn Cats you will need to keep the cats in an enclosed structure that will eventually be their home, such as a barn/shed/garage, for at least two weeks. The cats need to be fed each day at the same time and place. The cats must always have this safe, dry shelter with good food and basic care available for the rest of their lives.Thank you for giving some Barn Cats and Kittens an opportunity to work in exchange for saving their lives!
