Early 50's Penn 9/0 Senator From My Personal Collection
Early 50's Penn 9/0 Senator From My Personal Collection
Oct 22, 2024
Description

PLEASE NOTE: I AM CURRENTLY ONLY SHIPPING TO USA 50 STATES...  Here is a genuine relic from days gone by. This beautiful 9/0 senator is all original, right down to the slotted clamp that penn phased out in 1954. The reel has parts numbers, which dates it to post 1950, and the slotted clamp which dates it pre 1954. The 3 piece chrome spool, which dates it to pre 1955. This particular era was Penns finest chrome IMHO. It has lived under glass for well over a decade. Shows very little use. No doubt the original owner cherished this reel, and used it very little. Even the harness adjusters are very easy to turn. The top of the seat shows just a bit of use, but nothing bad, and no salt deposits or widespread corrosion. The pics makes the spool look like it's scratched up, but it isn't, the spool is very clean and corrosion free. My old digital camera also has intermittent focus issues, please see all pics and message me if you have any questions. A very difficult find in this good of condition. With a reel like this, it is very difficult to take pictures to show its true condition, as there are reflections from my surroundings I'm open to legit offers, but please don't get offended when I don't counteroffer, cause counter offers puts a freeze on offers from others for 24 hours. Please see all the pics. First person to offer $200 will own this beautiful 70yo 9/0 senator !! Also stay tuned for more Penn gems to be posted from my 2+ decades long Penn collection. To those that have bought a reel from me in 2024, please contact me for additional discounted price !! Reel will be packaged like a crown jewel and priority shipped Via USPS with signature confirmation upon delivery, to block possible porch pirates. I always ship next business day after payment is confirmed. I'm charging $1 for shipping, because when I offer free shipping, Ebay AI changes it to over $17 when I accept an offer. If I accept your offer and Ebay says your shipping fee is more than $1, please contact me prior to paying and I will fix it. My shipping cost will be over $22, but I';m including all but $1 into the purchase price.
