My story
Dylan: 1 year old, black and rust, neutered male, natural ears and docked tail. 11" tall & about 11 lbs.. Shots up to date & micro-chipped. Rescued from shelter. This handsome well put together boy is a great Min Pin. You cant help but smile when you watch him play. The best description we can give you is that he is the Super Bowl halftime show with the brass band, laser show and fireworks all rolled up in one. He loves everyone he meets. Dylan is confident, curious, happy, athletic and energetic. The Energizer Bunny has nothing on Dylan once he is wound up. On the other hand he also enjoys snuggling in your lap for a nice nap. If you are a runner he would make a perfect companion. Dylan loves everyone and really does want to please. He is a smart boy who needs some training to reach his full potential. He loves toys, dogs, people, treats and anything else you will offer him. He has a sweet disposition, always happy and ready for any adventure you want to do.We've been working on doggie etiquette. He loves canine friends but is clueless as to how to initiate a proper introduction. He skips the requisite sniffing and posturing and goes directly to jumping and playing. Needless to say this isn't always appreciated. We would recommend skipping the dog park until he figures out how to properly introduce himself. He was recently neutered and we've seen a reduction in his marking behavior over the last week. He is house trained using a dog door but we are having better success taking him out every few hours. He gets distracted on his way to the door and sometimes has accidents. When we take him out he eventually does his business, after some high jinks and antics of course. He crates fairly well. There is some initial complaining but it tapers off after you leave the room. This boy needs lots of exercise to burn off excess energy.Dylan is a special boy who needs an experienced Min Pin or Jack Russell Terrier home.If Dylan sounds like he might be your forever dog, contact: [email protected]: Dylan is located in Sacramento, CA. We will fly this boy in - cabin only with the adopter.IMPS Tag: 30618ADD DATE: 08/31/19If you wish to adopt, please fill out our IMPS Min Pin Adoption ApplicationIf you have previously submitted an Application form, there is no need to re-apply.For more details, contact Suzanne: [email protected] is a non-profit rescue organization that does not have a viewing facility to which you can come and meet the dogs available for adoption.
